Our Take: The Infinix GT 50 Pro is a gaming-first phone with a strong spec sheet: a Dimensity 8400 Ultimate chip, LPDDR5X RAM, a bright 144Hz AMOLED display and a big 6500mAh battery, all in a fairly light 198g body. The catch is the ₹69,999 launch price, which is a big jump and puts it against much more powerful rivals. It makes the most sense if you will actually use the gaming accessories and want a dedicated gaming phone.

📝 Infinix GT 50 Pro Price in India — Full Review
The Infinix GT 50 Pro price in India is ₹69,999 for the single 12GB + 256GB variant, with an effective price of around ₹64,999 after the launch bank offer. The phone launched on October 27, 2026, and open sale begins October 30 at 12 PM on Flipkart. It is Infinix’s most powerful gaming phone yet, built around the MediaTek Dimensity 8400 Ultimate chip, a 144Hz AMOLED display and a 6500mAh battery.
Design & Build Quality
The GT 50 Pro measures 162.4 × 77.23 × 8.15 mm and weighs 198g, which is light for a phone with a 6500mAh battery. It comes in two colours, Black Abyss and Red Blaze, and the front is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 7i. The box includes a clear case, which is a handy extra from day one.
Display
The display is a 6.78-inch 1.5K AMOLED panel with a 144Hz refresh rate and 330Hz touch sampling, both aimed squarely at gaming. Brightness reaches up to 1600 nits (HBM) and 4500 nits peak, with 100% DCI-P3 colour coverage and PWM dimming up to 2304Hz, which helps reduce eye strain at low brightness. A punch-hole cutout holds the front camera.
Performance
Under the hood is the MediaTek Dimensity 8400 Ultimate, an octa-core chip with a primary clock speed of up to 3.5GHz, paired with 12GB of LPDDR5X RAM and 256GB of storage. It is a strong chip for demanding games and heavy multitasking, though it is not a flagship processor, which matters at this price. The IR blaster, dual 5G and Bluetooth 5.4 round out the connectivity.
Camera
The rear setup pairs a 50MP main camera with an 8MP second sensor, with AI enhancements, Super Night mode, AI Eraser, Dual Video, Live Photo and 4K recording at up to 60FPS. The front camera is a 13MP shooter that supports wide selfies, portrait mode and 4K 30FPS video. The camera setup is functional rather than a highlight, which is normal for a gaming-focused phone.
Battery Life
The 6500mAh battery is the largest in the GT line so far and should comfortably handle a full day of heavy use, including long gaming sessions. A 45W adapter is included in the box. Reports on the global model also mention wireless charging support, but this was not listed in the Indian specs we have, so please confirm on Flipkart before buying if it matters to you.
Software
The phone runs Android 16. Infinix has not made its software update promise clear in the specs we have, so check the official listing before you buy if long-term updates are important to you.
Early Verdict: The Infinix GT 50 Pro is a capable gaming phone with a great display, big battery and fast RAM. But at ₹69,999 (about ₹64,999 with the bank offer), it is expensive, and you are paying for the gaming ecosystem. If you will use the gaming accessories and want a dedicated gaming phone, it is worth a look. If not, other phones in this price range offer more raw power and better cameras.
🤔 Who Should Actually Buy This (And Who Shouldn’t)
Here is our honest take on where the Infinix GT 50 Pro fits, based on how these specs translate to real usage.
Buy this if you’re someone who…
…plays mobile games for hours every day and wants a phone designed around it. The 144Hz AMOLED display, 330Hz touch sampling, LPDDR5X RAM and 6500mAh battery all work together for smooth, long gaming sessions. It also suits anyone who wants a big battery in a phone that still weighs only 198g.
Skip this if you’re someone who…
…cares more about cameras or value for money. The 8MP second rear camera is basic, and ₹69,999 is a lot to pay for a Dimensity 8400 Ultimate phone. If you do not plan to use the gaming bundle and accessories, you can find faster chips and better camera setups at a similar or lower price.
